Due to changes in the Law, Ayrshire Vintage Tractor & Machinery Club (AVTMC) has a duty to
advise all Members that their name and contact details (i.e. Address, Landline & Mobile
Telephone Number and email Address) will be held by AVTMC on secure databases for the
purpose of contacting Members regarding Club Meetings, Events, Road Runs, Rally, Ploughing
Days, Entry Forms etc. (including information on changes or cancellations etc. of such events)
and for the purpose of distributing the AVTMC Newsletter.
Also, from time to time, AVTMC may, at their discretion, contact Members with information
on dates and places of any other events (which may be out-with AVTMC) which AVTMC deem
to be of interest to Members.
IMPORTANT - Members who wish to receive the Scottish Vintage Vehicle Federation (SVVF)
Yearbook through AVTMC with the favourable terms available, will have their details disclosed
solely to SVVF, with the caveat that SVVF shall immediately remove these contact details as
soon as the Yearbook is distributed.
It must be noted that under no other circumstances will Member’s details be passed on to any
Third Party.
It is an unequivocal condition of becoming a Member of AVTMC that the above conditions are
totally accepted and that acceptance is now to be signed for on the Club’s Membership
Application/ Renewal Form.
If accepted, and willing to continue with these conditions, Members need take no further
action.
However, any Member who finds it unacceptable, or is uncomfortable with the conditions as
set out above, must contact AVTMC Club Secretary, Lex Craig, Mob - 07715 855900
email craigal930@gmail.com to have their contact details removed.
If this happens, it must be understood that no further contact can be made from AVTMC regarding Club Meetings, Events, Road Runs, Rally, Ploughing Days, Entry Forms etc. and no further Newsletters can be sent.
